Duration: 2 minutes

Description:
Sometime between the dates of January 24-27 at approximately 9:00 PM EST, a
37 year-old witness went out back of her house to walk her dog on a cold, clear Winter's
evening. The back consisted of a small concrete porch, then a small area of grass
followed by a tree line of slim 25'-30' Pine trees. Beyond the tree
line there was a small, dry creek, and then other homes in this new subdivision.
While walking her dog, a light of unknown origin approached from the right (North).
It traveled slowly to the left in a "skimming" and "wobbling"
fashion The light appeared to be transparent and glowing orb about 1-3 feet in
diameter and had a star-like object in the center of the light(orb). The object
was somewhat round, casting a shadow as well as light as it glowed. The wintess
stated that object was the size of a soccer ball held at
arm's length. The object appeared approximately 45 degrees up the horizon,
placing it at about 10' in altitude in front of the witness. At one time
the object ascended approximately 6' placing it almost at tree top level. Upon
ascending, the object hovered and then it shot off over the house at a high rate
of speed. The object ascended after reversing direction from the south to
almost due north. After it stopped and hovered, it then flew off to the East over
the one story house and disappeared.
The witness reported that after she noticed the object, she took backstep from the
grassy area to the small concrete porch. It was observed that a small incandescent
light on the left side of the door was on during the sighting. The witness stated
that she was scared at first, and that her dog made a deep belly like growl. The
sighting lasted approximately 2 minutes.
